"Induce a Complexity"

simple and prince worthy
stroking of space-time

I am a Bolshevik
I cannot set myself on fire

I demand the singular word
with worlds within worlds within

expectations of vagrant elderly
dispensing advice shrink wrapped

for convenience.
Could I have a quarter for the

pleasure of your company?
Questioning capacities

of soaring star ships decorated
with the latest subliminal messages

and VHF antennae protruding  from the
expectations of vagrant elderly

I have read science fiction
but never my own. stop.

Introspection. stop.
send help before the fabric unfurls

my child has pulled the singular thread
watching as the world falls with the universe

and the blankets of down wrapped
round his bunny slippers

"I should have been a pair of ragged claws/ Scuttling over the floors of silent seas"-T.S. Eliot
