If all I do Is hold your hand, Would you walk with me Along the strand? If all I do Is touch your cheek, Whisper, “I Love You” Will that make you complete? If all I do Is touch your soul, Will a band round your finger, A circle of gold? If all I do Is ask, “marry me,” Is that enough To set your heart free? If all I do, Is simply all this, Could you start each day With only my kiss? |

Thank you Ethel. This is not so much a young couple's love, but an elderly couple's love, when sometimes, just the knowledge of being close to each other is all they have. Is it enough? For some...yes. |
