Beer 2

sorry, this is my second poem about beer in as many days, I'm just pumped up for spring break.

I take a sip.....

Thus begins our magical trip.

I have only one;
you and I both know I'm hardly done.
As I begin number two
I'm really starting to enjoy you.
As I reach for three;
our love must be!

On the fourth, I head outside, just by myself;
needing to further damage my health.
I need some nicotine -
if you smoke, you know what I mean.
Heading back inside,
continuing on our magical ride.

While I was out, I gagged I choked,
just because I have to smoke.
I had number five.....

continuing on our ride.

I had number seis,
all of it's gone, without a trace.
Let's skip seven, eight and nine,
all of them were simply divine.

On to ten and then eleven,
if I drink more will I see heaven?
12 answers that question,
no turning back, no second guessing.
Beer, you always teach me a lesson.

The hardest thing to do is watch the one you love, love another.

rk lol - and yes I do smoke - made me smile twice today - well not about the health risks of smoking and drinking but that Krusty head up there lol xxoo

Again, for some reason, the Beer poem cracks me up...Not because of the actual poem, or the meaning behind it though! Those, I actually enjoy. It's just for some reason, when reading that poem there, it just reminded me of "Mr. Toads Wild Ride" o_o. Weird right? lol
