It hasn't been lost, nor forgotten.
I was just hoping things wouldn't get rotten.
It's not old, it's still new.
I just hope you'll remember,
I've always been here for you.
The tears you cry, I don't always see
But know this my friend
My faith in you will last for eternity.

At one point I thought I lost you.
The memories of us I did hold so dear;
And the thing I wanted most
Was not to shed just a single tear.

But things are different now,
I guess you need me.
You don't think I can be that special friend,
But wait, you'll see.
I'll be that shoulder for you to cry on,
And those ears just there to listen.
I'll have that warm smile,
And understanding eyes that seem to glisten.

Yes friend, I'm here for you
Through trials,
through your tests,
That's what we are are going to get through.
And yes, I said we.
Yes, us, together.
I can't leave you now.
Don't you remember?
Friends are forever.

OOO most definetly loved this!

Maybe you'll think about opening it up for a book submission. I dont know about anyone else, but i would vote for it.

To the library it goes!

Yup, i started posting on valentines day. Started writing less then a year ago, just got into really a couple months ago.

It gets addictive here, there are so many great reads on the boards. Its hard to read them all, but i try.

Good luck and keep up the good writing!

This is very good.....
Yeah, it looks like ya'll are getting the "hang of it", and like he said, this place gets very habit forming in just a short time......I know....

But, it's a very good habit, if you ask me...LOL

"Don't you remember?
