Branches full of birds:
they rock themselves into Spring
singing to our hearts

I inhale your scent
as the divine breeze of life
Love is born anew

Spring is so lovely! I love it. The heat, the water.. The beautiful animals. The plants and flowers. This poem was greatly enjoyed!

I like the pictures! (And the poem, of course!) Both beautiful reminders of the upcoming spring.

Though where I live, we just got our first snow last night. Spring may be farther of than we thought!

Every heart has hidden treasures...a secret wish, a silent dream, and a cherished love. [Unknown]

Beautiful! Both, the pictures and the poem. We had a touch of spring here, yesterday.

Thank you dear friends, I am sorry to hear that many of you still are in the cold winter, while here in Italy Spring is definitely in the air.
Thank you inkedgoddess for your own very lovely haiku!

I wrote the two verses above separately (a haiku and a senryu), but as they both touch upon ingredients of Spring (scent was referred to a person though), they can also be read together.
Wish you all a beautiful time, whether you are still in winter or already in Spring.

Spring is my season
It gives me a reason
  to live.

Nice write and great pictures.

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Thank you kayjay, vandana and Noah for your loving comments.
Oh Noah how infinitely sweet the hummingbird's hugs!
I'll cherish this lovely image, while I'll be gone for a while ...
hopefully soon to be back.
Love to all.

Cara Maree ciao! I am really surprised to find this back on top, just now when I came back for a moment after a few days of absence (holidays and then too busy!). Thank you for appreciating!

I needed that taste of spring today. I've been feeling the loss of Lyra and fearing the impending war...
