Why Beer? Why?

I take a drink;
immediately overwhelmed.
You gently kiss my lips;
sweetness on my tongue.
You ease down my throat
cooling it down.
Gently glide into my stomach
and swirl around.
Enter my bloodstream
leaving it defenseless.
Right up to my brain
leaving me senseless.

this is a great poem, but it lacks imagery, but you wrote it so well that it doesn't need inagery. keep up the good writing

   Beer is good, if you dont g crazy on it.. For instince, getting drunk every night, not good. I mostly like wine, and mixed drink . Dont relly like beer.

I'm with the ice queen on this one.
As a matter of fact, I'm indulging in a Killian's Irish Red at this moment, while doing laundry and reading fine fun poetry.
Here's to you!
