Foot of the hill
~seeing up~
wanting down.

pierce my eyes with windchill
that wishes to fill
and take control
of its weightless victims

my white flag tucked in pocket
stolen by devilish hand
disloged with full force
as i am unsuspecting

racing to the top
to capture my surrender
carried on the same flow
that races my target
faster than I.

retaliation of sorts
too late
i give up the gesture
i am mistakenly seen to profess
but never the fight.

learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love.

Gemma...this seems to be a very
personal poem...and it sounds
