I can wear the T-shirt. I can write the newsletter. I can even count the number of dead next week in the nation's leading newsweeklies. I won't be stopped in the airport. I won't be arrested at the mall. Give dead rights a rest, my friends. And let's give war a chance. I know it's over. |

Glad you enjoyed the poem. It was inspired by hearing about the lawyer who was arrested for wearing a "Give Peace a Chance" t-shirt at the mall he purchased the shirt from. My mind immediately thought If he had worn "Give War a Chance" he would have been fine. So this is the result. And the photo is to remind you that I don't take myself seriously. After all, I'm only a poet. Mike I know it's over. |

ROTFL. Yep, that was a bizarre story and your interpretation was ...well, let's just say....only a poet could offer such a creative interpretation. LOL. Aw shucks, it's all over already and I didn't even get the chance to go picket that mall! If I had taken my T shirt off!  It might have been great fun!  do you think I'd have been arrested for doing as I was asked? HMMMM |
