I went to a country bar last Saturday night
where I meet a man in cowboy boots
who was drunk and keep spilling his nasty tasting  beer on me as he would scream Yee Haw

I asked him to behave in a civilized way
and I would even be willing to pay for the coffee to sobor him up

He said he wanted a fight
I gave him one full of delight
words of wisdom I hit him with as
he appeared to not want another dish

I noticed his face turn red and his fist ball up
I keep talking he told me to shut it or he would kick my butt

I laughed and pointed at him as I went to speak
He popped me and I lost some teeth
What is wrong with this man has he no humor

He beat me all around the room chased me like a Tom And Jerry cartoon
Thats the last time
I accuse a red neck of dating his sister

Because no matter how quick of tongue
sometimes fist get it done

My buddy told me to try writing a poem since I like to read them lets see how I have done.

lol...like a Tom and Jerry cartoon. Simple and a bit humourous...I like it

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.

Welcome to Passions! So that's how you spent last Saturday evening! Well, your experience certainly was food for the fodder and grist for the mill! I guess you learned a valuable lesson: Never accuse a redneck of dating his sister! lol

Interesting read!

Warm welcoming hugs,

Made me laugh...I have to admit though, my mouth has kept me out of many a fight.

You did good, write some more!
