Crimson roses
fail to bloom
it's cold in February

Oh, Sandra, this is lovely, and so appropriate for many of us on this particular Valentine's Day...it's so sad when our given valentines go unopened, like a statement of denial.  I appreciated this piece, and the meanings within...

Sandra, this one really is bittersweet.
It hurt to think about someone's valentine
or any other card, going unopened.......
