   There I was,                but the
landscape  different
he lead me       softly, where    all fantasy’s
are built

touched gently   of my dreams   from night

Curiosity blue          met my eyes
                   he drew me down
placed me on silk reason
      showing me
how hearts beat

pressing  liquid        lips

Beneath clouds
            the wind fell asleep
giving way to deeper oceans

Sketch me      above mountains    in
         crimson   splendor

If    only            I could sleep --
                    inside of you,
in that bed of        orchid     kaleidoscope
        echoing       endl
ess green

Lauren...I think you could seduce the air with your words....to become sunset infused in the middle of the day.

You write the essence of romance, and complete the phrase.

Lovely work Lauren~

I sent this thread to another poet from here so she wouldnt miss it..with a note that said..
"I want to write like this when I grow up"
she wrote back "Me TOO!!!"

Does that give an idea of how uniquely awesome your poetry is?
the colors and images in this are stunning poetess L~

Thank you.

Thanks for posting a fine poem, and even more, thanks for a lesson in how to write poetry.

This piece should be required reading for everybody in PIP.

I tend to agree with both Martie and Janet Marie, Lauren.  Simply lovely, my friend, on of your best.

Not only remarkable, but rare.
