Watch my feet,
I walk down the hall,
I carry the weight on top of my back,
My shoes, once white, now torn with black stripes,
Glancing up, the door are lined with bright light colors,
Opening my door, plain and brown,
I’m watching my feet,
I’m staring them down,
I can’t look above, so routine and wrong,
I can’t look at your face,
You treat me wrong,
This is my life,
The life that I didn’t chose,
The life that I live,
The life that I don’t loathe,
The future is up ahead,
The lights are so bright and strong,
Colleges and Jobs,
Universities and Pay,
I was naive,
I grew up,
Watch the future,
The lights are no longer too bright,
I see your face clearer than ever,
I know that you lie to me,
I know that you could treat me better,
I want to get out,
I want to leave you behind,
You’re lying to me,
Are you cheating?
I carry the weight on top of my back,
I just wont carry you.

hello, and welcome to Passions.

Yes, it's best to keep the load light, and to follow your own pathway.
