what kind of karma
does she accrue,
smiling faced wife,
knife stabbing him behind his
back,

mamabear defending her cubs,
seeing them through
another few,
2 years till they fly
on their own,
wings,taking flight,

is she evil,
or martyr?

the walk of motherhood,
the scarlet letter
of adultery,

on whose side
are the karma police
this tearful night?
