The old places seem
Closed to me
And some of them
Are missing, now.
A place to go
I need, unknown.

There are not enough
Doors,
Not enough windows.
Everywhere my feet
Fall, they meet walls.

I read this three times...and enjoyed it more with each read. Nice concise images to paint the feel and tell the tale... good stuff!

Thank you all for your comments.

I guess some of my old hangouts feel a little alien to me, now, after being gone for so long.  And then, I have a feel for wanting to explore new places.

Kind of like growing out of the arcade once frequented as a teen.
