Tell-Tale Heart

pressing
fingers to mind
slowly easing, tracing
memory of a kiss, first one
triggering that "tell-tale heart" beat
a mutual force lost
within the taste
of lips

"For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart.
It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."
(J.Garland)

I like that tell-tale heart beat,
and the forces that go with it.

Great lines Maureen~
