Play Chopin's Prelude Op. 28, No. 7

~* I See You As Dawn Breaks *~
© Mysteria 01/2002

A wide blue sky adorns
This heavenly place I stand.
Morning breaks.
With eyes closed tight
I see you.

You pirouette through clouds
leaping in reckless disarray.
There is not a single sound,
except my heartbeat,
while I watch you dance.

I sense your soul flying free,
unleashed over the heads
of all mortal man,
as I meld with psychic tremors
to feel you with me, in me.

Suddenly, you’re there.
Such tender warmth.
I feel your loving touch,
see your smile,
that was always your way.

As dawn breaks
Beyond the darkened
mountain at my back,
I close my eyes, and
I will always see you dance.

Thanks for the tissue warning Susan, but it came a little too late, as I had already read this when I came to your reply.
Wonderful Sharon....I now can picture Willow dancing....and at times I am sure I am not the only one who feels as though they know her through you.  Lovely write dear poetess.

Lovely....just lovely. Isn't it odd that so many emotions can be tapped with a good poem, a lovely graphic and some Chopin?

Sharon, this is beautiful and so moving.  It has already been an emotional day for me and this touched me even more.  Willow sure inspires beauties and sorrow from your pen. I'm sure she truly does dance for you in heaven.  Your poem also makes me think of my Grandma

Dear Mysteria
Enjoyed the read, which inspired a few lines as well.
Sincerely Rick

As there she stood above the earth
She looked upon us all
Smiling with her inner grace
The look of kindness on her face
Wings of flight and dancing feet
All the words of song so sweat
As dawn it came to fall
