Discovering Flesh

It took just a smile
    and a hint of lace
        The spark was set
            and we began the chase

Passions flared
    through thoughts in time
        And the flames they burned
            fuelled with rhyme

Breathless desire swelled
    and souls did mesh
        As we found ourselves
            discovering flesh

There was no choice
    but let passion begin
        For that scorching touch
            brought forbidden sin

Lover’s dreams now smoulder
    with rapture fulfilled
        and the eyes they glow
            Their souls revealed
