She embraced the dawn
singing a sweet,lullabye
to yesterday~~~~

Her heart suspended
in animated wonder
waiting for the touch,
the caress of
~~~~a phantom lover.
She knew him by heart,
sight unseen. He was
a myth, a legend
of her own making.
Her lullabye soft
and full.Mellow;
~~~~yet intense.
He was not far from her,
only a dream away.
Brought to life
by a lullabye sung
with a heart

~~~~full of yearning.
I would love to hear that lullaby
Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
