Some days
Cloud piled skies
Leave shadows chasing
Through green fields
Alive with sway of stem
And hum of summer

Such passing day
We lay side by side
Counting shapes
Letting tall stalks
Hide nakedness
From worldly eyes.

Sweat mingled musk
As laughter broke
From lips once sealed
With mine

Some days
I would play again
Those times

Some days
The shadows chase me
And I run

Sea: Thank you dear one... glad you enjoyed. I have read many of your posts of late, and have to say you only get better as time goes on.

Nancy: Thank you... I hope you enjoyed... nice as well for me to be able to visit again and read your words and those of the other wonderful poets on this board.

Duncan: yes memories are like that... some days you chase them and other days or night they chase you.. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks Bob... nice words coming from a man I respect so for his ability to put together the words so seamlessly.

The imagery doesn't get much better than this, but quit running, unless your running back here to post ... more!

A big impact just graced with gentleness.  This I love, into the library.
