This challenge was at another board. It was a painting in the style of Norman Rockwell, though I don't know if it is one or not. There are two very gray haired ladies sitting in a theatre, buckets, rags and mops beside them. They are looking through the playbill.  This is the poem that the pic inspired for me.

After the Call

the roar has departed
through great swinging doors
we know we should get started
though ears echo the score

Broadway’s in its wondrous time
where smell of grease paint
and  music sublime
lift our souls to a more winsome clime

used playbill relights promises we made
and dreams we used to enjoy
on soft, cushioned seats with a favorite boy,
two lifetimes ago before the grenade

best friends, forever,
thrown together in life
both used to be wed
before Panzer’s strife

now we clean up soils
of the rich and the fame
expending our toils
to freshen the game

we may not be wealthy
we may not be grand
but our outlook is healthy
as together we stand

we’ve survived many conflicts
we’ve a friendship that’s pure
as we share both our glee
and our labors d’jour

from the overture’s downbeat
while we stand in the wings
to the final aria
the sweet diva sings

when accolades echo
out into the hall
trailed by audience’s exit,
post curtain call
