Valentine For My Mom

I remember when I was a little child
how hard I tried to get you riled
and through it all you laughed and smiled

I never stood still...ran around
pitter patter
I drove you crazy
with my constant chatter

you nourished me with love
and lambchops
and loving hugs
that never stopped
my Mom...you are
the cream of the crop

in my teens, I'd borrow your clothes
in the dark, from your closet
on tippy toes
how you stood it
heaven knows

years later now, I am grown
oh how fast the years have flown
as a Mom
you'll never be outshone

Lyra - The key to any kids heart is actually lambchop pizza.   She must be a very sweet lady to put up with you.  You probably are always trying to push your MI pizza on her.  Seriously, this was very sweet.

Madame - I don't believe that anyone could write a valentine poem to a mom like you wrote this one. I love it...

Noah...thanks so much for your very sweet reply.

PB4S...LOL...thats what I am a CHIPmunk off the old block, thank you

Barry...Oh yes...she's the one who taught me how to stuff those cheeks...and to walk proudly with my tail high in the air.

Michael...If I had known you then...I would have sent them to you.  I hated lambchops because they were shoved down my throat...still hate them because of that. Thanks for your reply

Nancy and Joanna...thank you both for the hugs.  My Mom loved it.

Dave...actually, my Mom is the inventor of lambchop pizza.....she got it in NY when I was a kid and she used to try to stuff it down my throat.  I still HATE lambchops.

Jamie and Interloper, thanks for your replies...I'm glad you both enjoyed it.

Bill...thanks for the very nice reply.
