“HEART WANTING”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
Had a dream during last night,
was walking through the park…
Heard some noises from the lake,
couldn’t see much, it was dark…
Looked all over until I found,
near the water a little duckling…
Was making these funny sounds,
knew this one, had to be aching…
Picked it up, soft ball of fuzz,
held it closer to me, tenderly…
Felt its heart beating slower,
then it fell asleep, just barely…
Wasn’t quite sure about this,
not knowing what it meant…
Perhaps it was about you,
a heart wanting to be content…
I had a dream last night, that made me feel so happy. And then I woke up, and reality slapped me in the head. Sigh.
Hi Bill it’s Krissy, (Marsha’s daughter). Not sure which reply you’ll read first so I’ll leave the introduction on both I begged mum to let me join so I can leave little notes like she does. So here’s your little note, I love this it’s very expressive the image is so clear, only excellent writers can do this. This is absolutely outstanding writing I really do love this, I see I beat mum this time, grins
Well written Bill very well written, did I tell you I’m a fan of yours?
Bill,
A warm fuzzy to brighten my day. Excellent. Why aren't you in Florida?
