My heart feels the sadness of the wait
Sands fill my shoes, slow a strong gait.
Rivers of feelings flow within my vein
I yearn to see, want to hear once again.

Past moments flit before reddened eyes
Scenes of passion bring gasps and sighs
Prints upon sand now vanished, gone
Forlorn feelings of a veil, a mist alone.

Must the heart shatter to then heal?
Suffering from visions false and real.
Beating alone in the absence of one.
Waiting, watching, is love now done?

A portrait of beauty, soft velvet smile.
A smatter of lost words...for a while.
Left to ponder, writing words blue.
Wishing, waiting, wanting just you.

Magnus darling boy Oh my what an absolutely soul filled write this is, I love the flow of it. Sorrowful yes but oh how well you write of heartache, I never could and being happy I definitely can’t. In fact I’m of the opinion I can’t write anything much when I’m happy. YOU however definitely can write anything, and everything I’ve never seen a bad piece from you not ever.

Oh how I wish I could write like this. Absolutely wonderful writing I love it

sadly beautiful and beautifully sad

Barry, I hope that your broken heart has healed and even better...I hope that this beautiful poem is fictional and that it was never broken in the first place.
