This Love I Cherish

Do you remember when our love for each other
pulsed like blood through our veins
How we cherished every moment together
and clung onto each and every word we said
Those heady nights when we
lay in bed propped up on our pillows
as we shared our hopes and our dreams
and surrendered to our love

We drifted off to sleep within the comfort
of one anothers arms and we
remained that way as the
first light of dawn broke through
We shared our dreams at daybreak
and you finally found the love note
I hid underneath your pillow
You tossed me onto the bed
and smothered me with kisses
as you told me how much you loved me

All the doubts and lack of love
that had plagued my previous relationships
disappeared the day I met you
You opened up my eyes to
true love as you made yourself
completely at home within
the confines of my heart

You made me feel like a beautiful flower
as I bloomed within the
radius of your love
You made me feel so alive
as you tapped into
the supply of my love
and took up residence
within my soul

(sigh) You are sooooooo romantic, sweet friend, I'm so happy for you and your truly found love, you are a wlays a gorgeous flower to us all, singing with the joy of true love! I know this feeling well Sue. Yes..one worth cherishing and written like a true romantic. I uphold romantiscm now..for I know its worth and how it livens the heart. Beautiful.
