A State of Disarray

Whisper saneness in my ear
When ancient deamons reappear
Speak so softly in the night
So tortured memories fade from sight
Keep me steady, keep me here
While ghosts cry out my secret fears
Take me with you to the light
A beacon heart that holds me tight
Please...please, be here in a year
When ancient deamons disappear

I could've written this.  But I didn't, you did.  And you expressed it so well!

(big hugggssssss) So very sad and heartwrenching, sweet friend, I hope now you have found true happiness and the Light has chased all your demons away and left your heart at peace! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, my heart is always with you! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I think every heart cries out for that kind of security and comfort, here is hoping that you never lose it! ((hug))

Well done!
I love it!

I will be there dear
when the demons disappear
fearless together

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Amusemi, this is so beautifully written and so true.  Security is a very important aspect of love.
I have to print this out and show it to my husband because he makes me feel so safe.
I just loved this!

I really like this poem. I keep looking for that security, and it seems as though I might have found it. I just hope it doesn't go away.

"What makes letting go hard isn't losing what you had, but losing the dream of what could have been."
