I do not look for itemized
descriptions of a deity--
I toss aside the blythe pronouns
and then I close my eyes to see.
I can't follow you on path--
this trail would lead me to YOUR home.
Beginning journey, where I'm at--
in faith that I am not alone.

I may not speak the tongue you speak.
My life is chapter--I am verse.
But follow you? I cannot do.
The path I own can't be much worse.

This is beautiful, Karen...

I may not speak the tongue you speak.
My life is chapter--I am verse.
But follow you? I cannot do.

Hey gorgeous and luscious one, I enjoyed reading this and found wisdom in these lines..

My life is chapter--I am verse.
But follow you? I cannot do.
The path I own can't be much worse.

Excellent dear
