It is a box
within a box
except the sizes
are reversed--
no lineage of
large-to-small--
each unfolds
to house the first.

In such a box
are keys to locks
laws of physics
are transversed--
beyond the instant
world of "here"
into the realm
where thoughts
are curse.

It is the box
of paradox
that shrinks
to hide
the universe.
Like nomads
crossing desert sand
pursuing
quench of thirst.

(sigh) Life can indeed be a big puzzle to solve sometimes, maybe there will come a tie where He can tell us the essence of Life and we can all discover it and specify harmony for all! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderfully thought-provoking! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sahring!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

It is the box
of paradox

Isn't it the truth?

Lots of ways to interpret this.
Amazing what we women hold on to,
and what becomes our treasures.
Even the boxes within the box are
a treasure in themselves.

I enjoy a good paradox,
Where approaching makes in harder to see,
Like using a key on a latch less box,
Or going where there’s nowhere to be,

Enjoyed.

Karen, I took this one at face value as my hubby collects puzzle boxes, and I admire his calm in trying to open them...as I read this I was looking at a couple here on the desk, with the keys hidden inside.  Good idea for a write...but then I have to make it hard on myself and not even think of going for the obvious! LOL.  Great write!

been enjoying your puzzles very much lately Karen

This is an intriguing poem, Karen...It really made me think...and wonder, what else could be in that box?

I loved the original thoughts here!

I've been remiss in my thank-you's...sigh...
there's been alot of great poetry posted lately and I just hated to spend my limited time on ME! But please know, that you all touch my heart with your sweetness, and, um, Balladeer? would love to hear more about that box!
