Friends throughout the years
though we had never spoke,
but yet our hearts we have shared
through countless smiles and tears.....
and then we finally talked...
oh it was such a joy!!
She was everything I knew she was,
but yet so much more....
her beauty is matched
with the gentle voice
of an angel.....
Only a few moments we had,
but it left me with a lifetime
of smiles, and a certain
peace....a knowing
that our hearts
would always share,
always care,
always be there.....
and as I hung up the phone
I remembered to say
a quick thank you
to God for sending
me this angel.....
who has given
me more....
than she can ever know~

my friend...

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

Whoever that friend may be, I know you've just done more with this poem than just share it with him/her...

thank you!

Sounds to me like you not only penned a tribute for the keeping but have a found a friend worth carving into the pages of eternity with you.  Well done.

Hey all, thanks so much.  I truly believe Mark said it best when he said I found a friend worth carving into the pages of eternity......indeed she is all that and more....she is the kind of friend that knows how to touch your life...and this she has done...many times....Love to all!!
