On A Journey To The Unknown

A pen he finally built for her
So I could bring her home
Letting her out into the yard
With plenty of room to run

Running as fast as she could go
She jumped right over the fence
I chased her for several hours
Trying to get her to come home

For about three hours I chased her
Around eighty acres of pasture
Down into the canyon she went
As I followed right behind her

Trying to get her to come out
While feeding her some carrots
Backing up a little each time
As I fed her some more carrots

I finally get her out of the canyon
Heading straight to my in-laws
Running right into their cattle pen
I quickly ran to shut the gate

Now I have her back home again
I feed her apples and carrots
She’ll them right from my hand
Still she won’t let me touch her

Touching poem! I do believe that there is a verb missing at the end of the poem..she'll "take" them right from my hand?
surprised no one mentioned that!Is this a llama you have?

(smiles) YAY!!! Ooohhhhh...I love llamas so much, right next to my grandparent's house in Cape Giradeau, Missouri, their neighbor Clarence has a petting farm and I am so fortunate and lucky to see the llamas and horses every summer! (kiss on cheek) This is soooooo cute, sweet friend, we all love you so much, hooray for Miss Daisy and you! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
