Now I've done it again I made a dicision all by myself
But you don't like what I've decided..your tone told me so
I feel guilty for what my mind said I could do without any help
At my age do I have to ask may I..then you let me know

My mood is black my mind says its time I can rebel
I can decide to do my own thing even if others can't see why
You may wish I did as you thought and are ready to tell
But I'm guilty of letting others influence the way I live my life by

I am going to do it my way what ever blows my hair back
I may not even tell you my plans just do my own thing
Come or go day or night you'll know I'm home when I un-pack
Let me be grown up and know this will happen every Spring

Boy am I glad I got that off my chest and it's out in the open
Growing up isn't the same as growing old each faced with fear
I then have questions wonder if this is how it feels to win
And look out to see a Butterfly wipe away a little tear

Not sure I want to win

Well, Larry, I am old but not overly smart.  I hope to keep my nose where it belongs.  Glad to be here,  ME

Helen, thank you.  If it isn't one of the kids or grand kids, it is my husband!  Some days I just want to sit in a puddle and throw mud at them ALL!

Sven, inspiredpoetwriter, Soleil Noir, Interloper,  I thank y'all for the kind words and the use of the Kleenex.  I haven't been gone just in the Corner Pub.  Love the quiet.
