Honestly, I tell
you that if you

were not to be
then I

would sink into the ocean,
a feathery grave because I

would huddle close to the sun.

That would be the closest thing
to sailing the breezes with you,

where proximity
leaves my heart melted.

Very clever, tying the legend of Icarus into your thoughts of feelings for your love...I like it!
