Fly Away From Here
By: Noah Eaton
3/20/02

I wish to fall into your arms but it's impossible
I want to climb these mountains, is it probable?
Do I deserve to love you or am I irresponsible?
Is my mind just set to believe in fables?
I just want to sprinkle your sheets with rosepetals
I just want to believe in something that I never had
Someone like me feels hollow deep inside
I would give anything to hear you sigh

I want to fly away from here
Somewhere out there
I hope you love me just as much as I love you
I want you to know how much I'm trying to pull through
I want to fly away from here
My life has officially begun
But I need you to keep me holding on
I need your love...

Blowed on a dandelion just the other day
Watching the seeds hover and drift away
Yearning for the rain to fall and soak them in the soil
Making dreams come true in this deserted gravel
I spot an eye on the first robin of the year
I made my wish as I shedded empty tears
All I need is you, my goddess lover
Deep down I feel we belong to each other

I want to fly away from here
Somewhere out there
I hope you love me just as much as I love you
I want you to know how much I'm trying to pull through
I want to fly away from here
My life has officially begun
But I need you to keep me holding on
I need your love...

I'm down on my knees
God, will you let me hold her, please
You're the one I need...
You're the one I need...

I want to fly away from here
Somewhere out there
I hope you love me just as much as I love you
I want you to know how much I'm trying to pull through
I want to fly away from here
My life has officially begun
But I need you to keep me holding on
I need your love...
I need your love...
I need your love...

Noah sweetie, this reads like a song...a lonely aching song.  Lovely but, oh so full of longing.  Enjoyed.  Hugs.

Dear friend....love sometimes has it's
moments....some we don't enjoy and others
that we treasure for eternity....You write
the aches of love very well....

Noah darling boy, this is utterly utterly wonderful, I love the imagery and the language in this. This as Nancy says reads like a song, full of longing and yearning. I know how you feel darling boy I really do, it’s so difficult to hold on in any distant relationship. But you have to ask yourself the one question that’s the hardest to answer ……… is it worth it? Love is worth any price, and true love is as rare as hens teeth, so if you believe it’s your true love then hold on darling heart hold on to Joanna as tight as you can.

Absolutely wonderful use of language and vivid pictures I really do like this. If you were to ask me I’d say you and Joanna are made for each other.

Love and warm stuff

Noah, this is a beautiful poem, to fly you on the wings of love, to your Rosepetal.
I want to fy away from here, too!

Oh, Noah, I'm sure she hears these words and more! You deserve the most awesome love there is and if it takes flying away from here to have that then so be it, My Friend! Great write as always, just wish you weren't hurting tonight.

Hello Noah

I could feel the pain and longing you hold in your heart and I hope you find true love and happiness.  You are such a kind and deserving soul and I wish for you nothing but the best.

Take care.......Sue

sometimes we all just want to fly away!
Remember, good things come to those who wait!
Beautiful song you've written here.
