The one you love
Speaking to you quietly
You can still feel
So alone
Sometimes even with
The knowledge
That he loves you
Your heart still
Aches with loneliness
Sometimes all you want
Are soft touches
Followed by
Even softer whispers
Sometimes your soul
Needs the closeness
That nothing else
But the touch of
His warm hand
Stroking your hair
So tenderly
Like you were
A priceless gift.
Can give
Sometimes you just
Want to be looked at
With such awe
With such a sense
Of devotion
It makes you cry.
Sometimes you need
Simply what words
Cannot give.

Hi

This is one of the best poems I've read tonight! It has so much truth to it.
Sometimes we all need reassurance
and to beshown that we are truly loved!
