The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2002-02-16 08:56 PM

She reaches out her hand in hope
that he will take it in his own
To travel with her to that place
Atwirl away from shadows home.

Feet whisping o'er the ocean sands
in dance of love to never end
A fade from black to white, then rose
The finest way a night to spend.

The fire glows, but not as bright
as does her heart and soul in beat
A primitive and simple thing
The sky and sand and earth to meet.

Delusion becomes truthfulness
and fantasies re-emergent
As two blend into one sweet dream
to glide together, until spent.

catalinamoon,

Sounds like the perfect safe haven we all need. You created it nicely.

LOL@Larry's reply...suddenly he remembers how to dance.
This is wonderful Sandra....I feel after reading this that I would love to swirl and dance at the ocean's edge.
