I was leaning on a corner post of
Colorado and 18th - I climbed onto a mid town
bus that found a Seattle plane - they say I’m dangerous
because I’m honest and been around can we be friends? I
could hear my name on the wind suspicion was thick the
roughest I’d ever seen - good-bye Colorado Springs
though I’ve never known you but a little I
thought I loved you all the same
there comes a time when
your jewels lose their
glitter and the gold
loses its luster &
a palace becomes
an empty tomb and
all that is left is a prison
and a love that you can neven
afford even the children who’ve grown or
been taken and far away gone at times I sit gazing
through my window into the nights and see two figures
silhouette the lit street below holding hands & each other
and it divides my heart to know now I find myself writing
and singing to faery’s of my soul with a bleus I’m too
young to know so much so soon the rainbows
overdue and confessing I’m lost but
masquerading a disguise
I find it’s getting
only harder to
imagine what
might have been
if really it had happened
touched with a tainted caring and a
world of tears the best part of myself however
there are times wished I could sever it from my
soul but then I remember the well-spring
from which it flows

Wow, what an interesting stream of consciousness. I liked the presentation as well.

I would love to know more about the circumstances that set these thoughts into motion.

Dale

This flowed so smothly it felt like lyrics to your heart song.  Depth of emotion coming to surface in float of words.  I've always loved the way you write!
