Tropical Punch
Sunrise/Sunset

Dawn sips sparrow's tang
dining on heaven's truffles
sun smiles in topaz
kissing the creamsicle clouds
of tawny suede horizon

Sun sets to damask
seafoam skylight curtain falls
onyx takes the stage
sienna stars scintillate
for the misty mocha moon

*smiling at you*

The imagery alone in this leaves the reader impressed...the glorious descriptive colors that you use and the phrasing that is uniquely YOU then add that to the form which you have made your own...then just look at the poetic treats you sprinkle in this with the alliteration.
Very cool and very lovely Melis.

So it seems your saving grace was only saving face,
you thought he was wanting you...
but he was only wanting you to let him off the hook.

"Sun sets to damask"

now this is an image. . .

keep finding your voice my friend. . . it's coming out more and more. . .
