Fruit of Wisdom?

“When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. ” NIV Genesis 3:6.

"The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners.' But wisdom is proved right by her actions." NIV Matthew 11:19

O God,

Why do I care as I go a roamin
For Your Love I see in ev’ry woman?
Molded in such a beautiful design
A Majestic Jewel of Your Own Kind.

A soul of tenderness as she seeks her part
Easily hurt when she trusts in her heart
Too often hardened through abuse of man
Why must she suffer on earth’s dark land?

Are teachings of past men from Your Bright Light?
Where women are simply creatures of night
Man must subdue, as her desires are sin
Evil leading to destruction of men?

Was woman seduced in Garden of Eve?
Through wisdom and lies, when Satan deceived
Adam lusting? Making bondage of pain?
To own Eve’s desire, creating her rain?

Did man lie about Your Fruit of Wisdom?

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Newell, this is a thought that I too have heard debated so many times before, many people believed that Eve brought sin into this world, but I believe that really Eve gave us all a gift too, understanding the fruits of wisdom, for I believe that He has beared all these fruits for us to taste and she is not to blame in full! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is powerfully thought-provoking! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Newell, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Yes this is indeed thought provoking and you are the first man I have heard to not blame women, Seems men are always doing that since eve. So Newell, YOu do know I love this poem. Perhaps there is more to the story than we can see. Lovely work. floria

Hi floria,

Yes, I'm convinced that there has been a big, big conspiracy about Eve and the garden. And I wonder if the entire slant of history has been rigged to hide what actually happened. What actually happened when Adam choose to go without God's help?

And how was it covered up with Eve and women captured in bondage. (flesh bodies, perhaps) When God made a covering, was the covering simply skin, with an immune system to protect from disease. Although was the flesh that Adam made, imperfect, and prone to disease? And pain and suffering. Was this Adam's doing? Not God's? Not Eve's?

Many poems I have not yet posted explore this path of searching. Thank you for being open minded enough to listen. I would always be interested in any ideas or questions you might have along this road to truth.
