Oh How I Hate Goodbye

Each time we have to say goodbye
feels like my heart is cut in two.
Only half of it will stay with me,
the other half goes with you.

You've given so much happiness
with your friendship and your love,
it's like your presence in my life
has been sent from up above.

So when it's time for you to go
though I dread the very minute
I prefer a life with your goodbye's
to one that never had you in it.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Jan, this is so very sad, my heart goes out to the many who have to experience these kind of goodbyes, for I believe goodbye is the saddest word of all to ever say! (kiss on cheek) My heart goes out to you, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jan, thank you for sharing!
