If only you knew
how I feast upon your words
and all the ways I get lost in them.
Warmed by the wonder,
and every vision you impart;
steaming before my eyes~
Like a sweet aroma
wafts through the air
each touch of the kneading
every taste in the seasoning
rising to the moment.
Measured by a half cup,
give or take a little bit
here or there~~~

BluesSerenade,
only the half cup? It seems to me that the cup is overflowing in this write.

I think, LA, that is the reason i read so much,
to drink up words
imbibe on the writer's passion
and share a cup of themselves.

You have developed such an amazing talent
to say exactly what you mean in your poetry.
Wonderful, LA!  be well,
and smile

Kethry~
A half cup is better than an empty cup,
at least I've got a cup to meausre!
I'm an awful cook but I know what I like.
Thanks Kethry~

tSR~ Thanks for the nice reply.
Oh, and I'm sorry you're team lost!
But did you see those three pointers the
lakers were making?

your words turned my thoughts, bringing
a smile for the day. Don't ever underestimate the power of words,
your words.

This sounds like my kind of feast, Lori...

If only you knew

Warmed by the wonder,
and every vision you impart;
steaming before my eyes~

I hope you are still enjoying it.
