Dawn’s Sky Dance
A duet

Dance into dawning sky
See the blush of
Pink as it brushes
With light
Delicate soft
Streaks of
Whispered dawn

Sprightly the sun rises
Bringing with it
Yellow and gold
To add
To the harmony
Of the rose pink hue
Heralds of day

Watch the light grow
Casting golden
Glow of sun’s touch
Dawns fingers
Seeking
Streaking the sky
With light
Which sings

Music swells
As the dawn breaks
Shattering night
Silence
Kisses the earth
And warms
As it kisses
The morning light
Sings as it enfolds

See the air begin
To flow over all
The dawn
With it’s paint box
Brightening
Lightening the sky
Dawn calls
Now the sky
A light
Waits

And hallelujah’s chorus
To the waiting dawn
As night takes up
Her tresses
To depart
and hide
the starlight is gone
Dawn is nigh
In triumph
The day greets her

And while thy willing soul transpiers
at every pore with instant fires

This is beautiful. I could almost get up early to see this sunrise! You two write well together.
And thank you both for the thoughtful words today.

Keth/Krissy - Very nice.  Each stanza builds upon another until it reaches a crescendo.  Enjoyed this very much.

Krissy first and foremost thanks for writing this with me, you made it such a special ten minutes it was almost like something I used to do but can't quite remember. and thanks for not dismembering my words.

Noah, thanks for stopping this early morn. Krissy made it easy for me all I had to do was fill in the gaps.

Sandra if you get up early you will be alone...I vaguely remember this time of day when I was young and coming home or getting up.  Now I just remember.

jwesley,
On behalf of a beautiful peo or those with ple I thank you.

Dave,
I'm glad you used crescendo instead of the other "c" word it might build to. Did you remember in time she's Marsha's daughter and think back on what Marsha and I duelled about? If so - good memory, Kudos.

Kethry

Absolutely beautiful you two. Though I am well acquainted with Keth's great works, I suppose this is the first time I've read Krissy's. This is wonderful.
