The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2002-03-02 11:24 AM

At first, it feels like a shot
fired unexpectedly
hit head on
Then it's a wisp of fear
spiraling up your neck
subtly trying to suffocate you
Mostly
it's just sadness
because someone has gone
and you are left behind
A universal emotion
that feels so individual
when it surrounds your heart.

My thanks to all of you, my friends, for listening to my sadness. I will be back reading and replying soon.

(BIG HUGGGSSSSSSS) Oh Sandra, I know just how you feel and I understand the fear and the nervous energy sorrow can create, for I have been living in a lot of grief too! (sigh) Know that you are always loved by many, sweet friend, you are a true angel and I swear this time will pass and you will find all the joy your heart desires, just as she will forever guide you with her love from up above! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, we are all here for you when you feel you're ready to return to us! God Bless You! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sandra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

catalinamoon,

My thoughts are with you. I know how hard this is, as most of us do.  I always say writing is the best way to vent all those emotions, and you did it well.

Hugs,
Tara

When I write it is for two reasons.  To say something I am feeling and to say it in a way that someone else feels it exactly the same.  I believe you have done both.  My thoughts are with you.

Yes Catalina, It is like a deep dark pit inside you, I know the feeling all too well. And every now and then it comes back to show it's horrid face. I know this feeling. I am still praying for you dear. floria

The gift of the poet is the channeling of emotions to the positive,
Express and empty that which churns...
Friends are here to catch you.  Well done.

Yes, you’ve described it perfectly. Take all the time you need to deal with your grief. I’m sure the writing helps a little. It’s hard to get over loss like this, but in time the pain will ease a little. Hugs to you Sandra.
