My Mazda

Shiny black, tan leather seats
a three-way sunroof, extra sweet
rearview mirror with built in compass
sporty, snappy, far from pompous

woodgrained dashboard, auto stick
a CD player does the trick
its seen both coasts of the USA
from east to west on the big highway

I don't like cars so big and showy
that slip and slide when roads are snowy
I love my Mazda's front wheel drive
on icy roads, it really thrives

it may be small, but it has class
a little car with big pizazz
some say its too little, but I disagree
my Mazda feels just right for me

Nicely done... I have had some extended experience with an older Mazda...and it is dependable, easy to drive, and certainly all the car my ego requires..( chuckling)

Gee, this is just how I felt about my little convertible Miata.....till the hubby sold it!! I guess it just didn't have room for me, hubby, and the grandson. Ahh, but nice memories though. Enjoyed this one!! Chris

(smiles) YAY!!! Ooohhhhh...I'm not all that crazy about cars at all, but I want one that is small and has a high safety rating and it seems that is a good one! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, your words are always so fun and enjoyable to read! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lyra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

We had a Mazda when I was growing up.  It was really fun when I was old enough to drive it.

I'll bet you look cute as a button in it, too! Few emotions can match the feelings between a human and the right car. I'm glad you have yours!!

Cpat...thanks for your reply, this is the first Mazda I have ever owned and it is the nicest car I have ever had. All my previous ones have been big because I had to chauffeur children around.  Now that they are grown and gone, I decided that I should have the car I've always wanted.

Victoria...Mazdas seem to be very dependable.  My late first husband had one and I was so jealous because I had to have this big Oldsmobile which was the mommy taxi. thanks for your reply and the hugs

Michael...thanks so much for taking the time to read and reply to my car

Chris...I was going to get a Miata, but I,too have grandchildren...so I got a 626...which is quite sporty!

Martie...thank you for the reply.  I have wanted this car for many years before I was able to grow up enough to get it.  That meant that I was out of the Mommy's taxi business.

Noah...thanks for your reply, a Mazda 626 sounds like the perfect car for you.

Maureen...sorry to bust your bubble, but its a 626...a very sporty 626.  It has all of the extra stuff on it, and I love the leather seats....I've always wanted them in a car, I guess this is my mommy with grownup kids car.  I do have grandchildren, but they don't spend nearly as much time in my car as my kids did.  ((hugs))  Thanks for the reply

Barry...thanks for the reply, how did YOU know that I was so gutsy?

Floria...thanks for your reply.  I think you should get a new car...get a little one, they are so much more fun to drive.  Do you have a birthday coming up soon?  That would be a great present for your husband to buy you.

Amusemi...thank you for reading and replying to my car...they are lots of fun to drive...it sure beats that big Oldsmobile I used to have.

Michael...Cute as a button?  Now I my head is really swollen....thank you, thank you, thank you!   Actually, when I first got it, my brother in law called me "the little old lady from pasadena"  remember the Beach Boy's Song...Go Granny Go!   For calling me cute, heres some huggggsssss!
