Hot fudge on ice cream and ketchup on fries,
Buttered corn muffins and warm apple pies,
Fresh country sausages fried up in their rings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Hot greasy short ribs all smothered in sauce,
Bagels and cream cheese, I ain't got no lox,
Chocolate souffle with the pleasure it brings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Pancakes with syrup, fresh maple's the best,
Milk shakes so creamy, by heaven they're blest,
Pork rinds and cold beer, with buffalo wings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

When chest pains occcur,
When the heart stings,
When cholesterol's high,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I pray I don't die.
