A SONG IN THE NIGHT

She dances only in the light,
Of a silver moon in full.
Low orange will not do.
Feeling the height in her wings,
Lifting her above this restless earth.
Will she sing her song for you?

The Joy she finds on these flights,
Cannot be captures as fireflies,
And the light with which she glows,
Cannot be taken in the darkest night.
Only the lonely breeze that that steals her joy,
Can also take her soul, her light.

Yet she is a lonely child.
Her only friends the night, stars,
The search for others like herself,
Will never end inside the dark,
The ones she sometimes finds are few,
And this breeze has found them too.

She will sing her song for you,
While the coldness does not blow,
Inside herself still burns a fire,
Like the core of celestial glow,
Listen closely to this child.
Only in her song does her heart show.

Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow.
But above all... be kind to yourself today.

Sherry, this is soooo beautiful!  Amazing how the moon inspires us so!  Especially a full one like tonight.  Love this, I do!  Into my library it goes.
