Blue Page Family

by Michael

Wounded hearts
and broken spirits fall
upon the pages, blue, for all.
Their tears, for each of us to see
and how each dripping tear so touches me.

Molested spirits cannot find their way.
A lost love, just wanting one to care
and here I am, so many prayers to pray.
So many hurting, not enough of me to share.

It’s but a tiny part of our society
and loudly speaks of all the pain there is.
Their tortured souls just wanting to be healed.
Like each of us, just seeking happiness.

Lift the pen and write the hurt you feel.
Drive home your tears upon the written page.
Release your tears that somehow you might heal.
Tear down the walls, release the pent-up rage.

Each of your moods is always welcome here.
for we’re poetic family.
You’ve known my laughter and you’ve seen my fear.
The years will pass, you’ll see much  more of me.

Michael, this meant so much to me, It just pulled at my heart. Yes, writing it down does help a lot, and we will always be here to read. Thank you for this, floria

Michael, this is so perfect. It is an amazing family we have here, one that is generally more caring than my real one.
