On A Journey To The Unknown

There you go again
Running to your mom
Everytime we have a fight
Right out the door you go

I wonder if you’ll ever grow
And leave your mamas side
A man who is your age of 46
Should have left her long ago

Standing on your own two feet
Is something you’ve never done
After all this time with you
I want to go back home

Sue,
Life is too short for such chaos. I wish you well. Seems your new year should only get better!

why do they DO that? I had one like that and I hated it! (especially since his mom adored me and loved me just like her own daughter)

Ditto!  That is why I am single by choice now! Great poem I am sure many can relate to, and both men and women!

This sounds very frustrating Sue. I really enjoyed the ending ... you captured the aggrevation well with your closing lines....

"After all this time with you
I want to go back home"

Best wishes,
/Kit

SweetFriend~
I 'know' this feels so frustrating to you ...
You've written the frustration well.
Big hugs to you, sweetie~

You are in my prayers, my friend~

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Sue, I can understand how aggravating this must feel, it seems he is not being a faithful person and still is acting immature. (sigh) I pray with all my heart he can turn to you first and sympathize with your feelings! (sigh) So sad but well-written, sweet friend, we all love you so very much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I know the feeling TOO well..My ex always always ALWAYS, ran to his mom and told her EVERYTHING! Even private stuff that we argued over. It was rediculous, and he was 25 years old. His mother wasn't very fond of me, she was the type of mom who felt that no girl was good enough for her son. therefore the two of them would gang up on me often, so he and I didn't last. I wish you the best though!

Thank you all for your responses!

Larry
I know life is too short for so much chaos. I have hung onto hopes for nearly 8 years hoping it would get better.

passing shadows
I have spent alot of time racking my brains trying to figure out "why".  I give up. If you ever figure out the reason, please let me know.

Mysteria
Believe me, when this one is over, I am through.

Kit and Marge
  Yes! It is very frustrating.

strbbux
You wouldn't believe how many times I have tried to get him to move away. He just won't budge. He always has a million reasons wht we can't move.

Jamie
  Yes it does.

Sunshine
  Thank you.

Mistletoe Angel
Thank you so much. You are such a sweetheart.

Balladeer
LOL! That is exactly what I have told him.

RosePetal
Sounds like you had the same kind of mother-in-law as mine.
