I’m sure real soon you’ll hear the news
Our past leader will take his dues
A book may come before December
Of all that he can now remember
He’s thought it through and now recalls
All that occurred in oval walls
A quite amazing thought reversal
From one whose daily dress rehearsal
was, “I’m sorry, I don’t recall;
I have no memory at all,
I’ve drawn a blank, it’s kinda fuzzy
I’ve never even met this hussy
It’s really hard for me to say
(Damn that pesky DNA!)”
But let impeachment dust just settle
And suddenly he’ll show his mettle
“What’s that? You have $10 million bucks?
Where do I sign? You are in luck!
I suddenly remember all!
There’s not a fact I can’t recall!
Just sign the check and I’ll commence
To come right down from my high fence”
Why now it’s crystal clear to me
All that was missing was his fee!
