No one knows the loneliness that
settles in when the silence deafens.
No one knows.

No one understands how desperate
and hurting a human being can be
at the most trying times.

You aren't supposed to show it.

Voices fade, you choke on nothing
the phone rings, it's a salesman,
everything is deafened around you
and you blame yourself.

You just blame yourself.

Inside, you feel beautiful,
outside, you feel completely spent.

Would you could turn yourself inside
out and please the world...is this what they want?

A puppet on a string, someone
to play along and then.....drop
with the cut of the scissors?

No one knows and if they do,
no one has come into the circle
where so many have left,
so just hold my hand
and let me know the circle
means something
even to those who have failed.

Maybe it really doesn't.

Maybe not.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Carol, this is such a  hauntingly bittersweet expressive thought, I hope it does mean so much to others, for we should all be there for one another in time of grave need and to circle hope and faith with all our hearts content! (sigh) I hope we can all find the voice in the beauty deep inside our hearts and use it to make the outside promising always! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is so touching, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Carol, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Oh but it does, and you left the reader reaching out for you...and that, my dear, is the skill of a writer...

My Dear Poet.  What a fine job of presenting your thoughts.  You have my full support exactly as you are.  We are each to be loved.
This is how it should be.  It is the only answer for humanity.  More should read your fine words.  Your new friend, Roger

Thank you kindly, these really didn't seem like "fine words" but they
were my feelings.  I appreciate the compassion read in y our replies.
Just a sad place, a private place and helps to somehow see it
in print and have a human being respond!

thank you again
