Agony and Ecstasy

I look at you in gentle sleep
My love I cannot measure
Such sweet ecstasy I reap
In this heart I truly treasure
Each gentle breath I await
In the rising of your breast
Then gaze again in its abate
Soft contours of your chest
Calmest beauty of your face
My fingers trace your lips
Stores of past soft embrace
As my lips did yours eclipse
It’s agony to love this much
Your beauty deals me pain
After even the briefest touch
My heart aches for it again
I couldn’t live without you
Anguish would be too great
The ecstasy of love’s accrue
The agony loss would create

(sigh) Sooooooo beautifully bittersweet, dearest friend, I know just how you feel and I feel we can all fear that this love will last. (big hugggsssssss) Always believe in yourself and hold your dreams close, and your love will always shine in your heart with joy! You deserve the greatest felicity, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Brian, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

My Oh My!  Oh Brian, things may be mighty cold outside up north, but your writing is very warm indeed.  Beautifully penned poet sir.
P.S.  I was going to offer you some hot chocolate, but, it doesn't sound as though  you need any.

So many heartfelt emotions in this piece.  You write so beautifully Brian.  I have the same feeling as you describe here.  You must have a lucky love there, because you have such a sweet and beautiful heart.  Great job.

Brian-
   Wow...this is really beautifully done.
You've done an excellent job of capturing
both the agony and the ecstacy in this piece.
   Wonderful!
   Hugs,
   ~Vicky
