In Caterpillar's Dome

Dangling from a silk worm’s thread in windy wisps of thought
Clinging to a spider’s woven fringes, barely caught
Twirling on a withered autumn leaf about to fall
Grasping on to outer edges of a garden wall

Devil of deception is this feeling of despair
Focusing my eyes on ghostly thoughts that aren’t there
That interrupt the moments of my peaceful nights and days
And cling to fingertips that tap out rhythms of a phrase

Sorrow is a veil that comes in silence of the night
And slowly creeps into the inner place of mind and sight
It’s like a caterpillar's dome about to show how fine
The beauty of a butterfly, but has to wait it’s time

It can't be shaken loose until it carves it's name in gold
Upon the inner premises and chambers of the soul
It tangles up in tender heartstrings, loosely wound and caught
And dangles from a silkworm’s thread in wispy winds of thought

And the caterpillar's struggle to become the Queen of Flight never ceases to amaze us...what it goes through to get to its rightful place...

well done, Lady Santos...

And her aura of goodness and beauty will withstand all the evil holding her back from flying, and when she does she will soar in victory and peace.

(sigh) So sad but beautiful, sweet friend, very soon her love and compassion will shine through and fill her heart with hope and joy to overcome all her tears then she will metamorphosize into the loving free butterfly she is born to be forever! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so so much, you are a butterfly of friendship across all these pages! I LOVE IT!!! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
